About

Jessy

Let’s switch to first person for this bit.

I’m a composer, audio designer (Ahsoka: Star wars, foreflight, alchemy rpg), narrative designer, and screenwriter specializing in fantasy and sci-fi orchestral music, though I enjoy working across a wide range of genres. Throughout my career, I’ve been noted as a chameleon in the music industry, able to adapt my compositions to fit diverse projects. My passion for storytelling and sound allows me to create immersive scores for film, television, trailers, video games, and other media, building atmosphere, tension, and emotion in a way that serves the story. I currently compose for amazing music houses such as The Crystal Creative, Score a Score, Aika, and Assemble Sound.

My custom music blends lush, cinematic soundscapes with melody-driven compositions, creating a rich and dynamic atmosphere. Often centered around the piano, each piece carries a sense of wistful nostalgia and emotional depth, making it a natural fit for film, trailers, and storytelling.

My dream is to compose for Los Angeles film and television in the vein of: Lord of the Rings, The Truman Show, Severance, Gattaca, and Interstellar.

For now, I keep busy with the jobs that keep music a viable career in my life, and I’m so grateful for them. I’ve been scoring indie films, trailers, ads, and games. I also have multiple bands, Falling Up being the one that I was signed to a record label straight out of high school, touring worldwide and selling over 250,000 records.

You can Check out my most recent project, The Chilling Alpine Adventure. There’s many songs that would be perfect for sync opportunities! The Waterfall House and The Version being two popular tracks.

    Ethan Gross, Writer, Ad Astra

  • "Jessy's ability to dive into different genres and instrumentations whilst maintaining a consistent theme and "brand" throughout each show is a highlight for the audience. From big boisterous orchestrations to intimate melodies that make you lean closer to the stories being told, Jessy nails it!"

    Shane Burrell

  • "Jessy is one of the few that can actually hear and uncover and compose the music that was meant to be there, that perhaps was always there from the beginning."

    David Wall, Gold Dust

About my music

  • While I specialize in sci-fi and fantasy compositions, my creative range spans many genres. These imaginative worlds allow me to craft melody-forward, theme-driven scores that resonate emotionally and elevate the storytelling. Inspired by composers like Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Phillip Glass, and Max Richter, I bring cinematic depth to every project, creating music that feels both epic and personal.

Though sci-fi and fantasy are passions of mine, I love embracing new challenges across diverse styles—whether it’s whimsical comedy, sweeping adventure, or intimate orchestral pieces. At the heart of my work is a signature sound that blends nostalgic undertones with emotionally-charged melodies. It’s this distinctive musical fingerprint that ties my compositions together, no matter the genre.

Ultimately, my goal is to create music that moves, transports, and leaves a lasting impact, regardless of the style or medium. Whether you're seeking a dynamic score for an intergalactic epic or a tender melody, I bring depth, emotion, and nostalgia to every note.

  • The Chilling Alpine Adventure: art rock

    Falling Up: Indie Rock

    The River Empires: cinematic folk

    Gloomcatcher: indie folk

  • As a composer with a passion for crafting original scores for film and television, I create music that doesn’t just accompany a story, but shapes it. With a focus on themes and melodies, I blend orchestral, electronic, and experimental elements to craft custom soundtracks that are as unique as the vision behind each project. I’m actively seeking opportunities in Los Angeles to score a film or television series, promising high-quality, original music that cuts through the silence, deepens the story, and leaves a lasting impression on your audience.
